Shelley and Chris were married in a beautiful ceremony at the Syria Mosque in Cheswick. Hosting both the wedding and reception in the same location afforded guests with the comfort of remaining in one space for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The ceremony was offset from the rest of the dance floor by utilizing a white lighted backdrop, lighted Grecian columns, and floral arrangements. The sunken dance floor at the Syria Mosque worked well for the ceremony, as guests were seated at table around the perimeter of the space.
Shelley faced some adversity one week prior to the wedding. We were asked to assemble her centerpieces and place them on the guest tables. When Shelley opened her boxes of supplies to assemble a sample centerpiece for us to duplicate, she realized that all of the items that she planned to use were broken! No need to worry though, Shelley thought quickly on her feet, contacted us, and selected an alternate centerpiece that we were able to supply on short notice. Shelley opted for a simple hurricane vase, mirror, taper candle, and fuchsia flower petals. The centerpieces were elegant and didn’t block the line of vision for guests during the ceremony.
Congratulations, Shelley & Chris! It was a pleasure working with you!
